This privacy policy applies to the Logos - AI Bible Chat app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Dawnshard Software, LLC (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a subscription service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include information such as
The Application does not gather precise information about the location of your mobile device.
The Service Provider may use the information you provided to contact you from time to time to provide you with important information, required notices and marketing promotions.
For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to spiritual preferences, daily check-in data, and conversation history. The information that the Service Provider requests will be retained locally on your device and used as described in this privacy policy.
When you request an AI answer or interpretation, the Application sends your request and relevant conversation context over HTTPS to our Cloudflare-hosted backend and to DeepSeek for processing. These requests may contain personal information if you choose to include it. Our backend does not maintain a conversation database. Saved conversation history remains on your device; processing by our service providers is separate from that local storage.
Saved conversations, daily check-in text, prayers, spiritual preferences, bookmarks, and streak records are stored on your device. The contents of your check-ins and journal are not sent as analytics. Messages and context you submit to AI features are transmitted as described above.
RevenueCat processes subscription purchases and entitlement status using a pseudonymous app user identifier. Starting with version 1.2, we also use that identifier for backend requests and basic usage measurement: paywall visits, successful AI answers, completed reflections, active days, counts on the device, and first-use timestamps. These milestones are associated with your subscription record so we can understand whether the Application is useful and improve it. They do not include your questions, answers, verse selections, moods, prayers, or journal text. Pseudonymous customer-level records are not the same as aggregated anonymous statistics.
The Application does not require an account, name, or email address to create this subscription identifier. We do not use these milestones to track you across other companies' apps or websites for advertising. Technical backend logs may contain the pseudonymous identifier, request type, timing, and errors.
We use RevenueCat for subscriptions and the usage milestones described above, Cloudflare for hosting and request handling, and DeepSeek for AI processing. Information is shared with these providers to operate and improve the Application. Provider information is available at the links below; this policy describes the data handling of Logos itself.
The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:
You can stop all collection of information by the Application easily by uninstalling it. You may use the standard uninstall processes as may be available as part of your mobile device or via the mobile application marketplace or network.
Local history and reflections remain on your device until you remove them or remove the Application. Subscription records, pseudonymous usage milestones, and technical records are retained as needed to provide and improve the service, resolve billing and support issues, and meet applicable obligations. Uninstalling stops future app activity but does not automatically erase past subscription or service-provider records. Contact info@dawnshardsoftware.com to request access to or deletion of data associated with your use of the Application.
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the case the Service Provider discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, the Service Provider will immediately delete this from their servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact the Service Provider (info@dawnshardsoftware.com) so that they will be able to take the necessary actions.
The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information. The Service Provider provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information the Service Provider processes and maintains.
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.
This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-09-13
By using the Application, you are consenting to the processing of your information as set forth in this Privacy Policy now and as amended by us.
If you have any questions regarding privacy while using the Application, or have questions about the practices, please contact the Service Provider via email at info@dawnshardsoftware.com.
